It was pouring rain the last day of school. Here is my family waiting for the bus under their umbrellas. It was a great year, now SUMMER HERE WE COME!!!!

once again i look at your work with great admiration and a strong “how’d she do that?” the overall mood, the body language, the slick of water on the asphalt! wow. also love how you added the near-white belts on most of the people. nicely pops them into focus.

Thanks for your kind words. I liked the near white strips too, they are the reflective strips on the kids backpacks. Lydia’s leg looks a little weird, but I like the thought that she is under Matthew’s umbrella.
