A Day at Turquoise Lake

Today was a fine day for fishing, or canoeing, or paddle boarding, or sailing, or hiking, or picnicking, or painting!
Or just enjoying the view!
Getting to the Other Side

Sometimes the answer to the question is the most obvious.
Hurrying Across

Out of all the crazy thing I have seen in lost and found boxes, I have never seen TIME. Time is a hard thing to find. You have to MAKE time for things most important in your life. Today I am painting while my son attends a pole vaulting camp.
That spec in the top half of the frame is my fledgling learning to fly!

Tangle of Lace

Even a cluttered pile of lace looks beautiful in a sewing basket, and so it is with weedy Queen Anne’s Lace, beautiful in a tangle.
Master and Apprentice

Watching through the windows at all the levels of classical ballet at my daughter’s studio delights me. Images at the bar are easiest to capture because they do the same things over and over again.
Summer Sail

“To reach a port, we must sail – sail, not tie at anchor – sail, not drift.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt
Whatever port you want to reach this summer, remember, you won’t get there by drifting or staying tied to an anchor.
Dancing Lace

If it were not for the mosquitos and the chiggers I might not ever come inside. To be surrounded by The setting sun, and chest high flowers is a wonderful thing to experience.
