jullianna, oh the place you painted has indeed a warm breeze that sings comfort and protection. I love it. Did you make up a thumbnail or other sketch before? what about an under painting?

I did do a thumbnail, and I put down an apricot colored wash before I painted with a very warm palette. I almost never paint from my imagination, it was fun, you should try it!
