“…The skies and land are so enormous, and the detail so precise and exquisite that wherever you are you are isolated in a glowing world between the macro and the micro.”
– Ansel Adams wrote this about Ghost Ranch
This is my final Ghost Ranch sunset for the year. It has been a blessing and honor to be the artist in residence. I had hundreds of people come to my open studio and sunrise/set painting sessions. I nurtured old friendships and formed many new ones. My family had the chance to experience the wilderness this summer. We hiked and played and painted, it was a good summer.
Absolutely beautiful. Sad that these magical paintings will end for the year, but so happy you’ll be back in Dallas
Lovely One of these days I’ll need to attend classes. To find out how you get such radiance.
And you made my summer better – thanks for open art and your daily paintings!
It was a great summer, indeed!! Blessings to you and your beautiful family. Until we meet again……
Your art has been beautiful and inspiring. Miss you.
Sad to read you are leaving GR for the season. I will miss your lovely renditions of my favorite place.
Thank you for sharing your talents by giving us these glimpses of a special place these last few weeks, and teaching so many of us something about pastels.
