5″x7″ oil on panel. Plein air. Bahía de Banderas, Mexico.

This was late last fall, but I thought you could use a day at the beach today. We enjoyed: white sand beaches, turquoise water, perfect waves, and fresh shrimp tacos and a cold beer for lunch. I did 4 paintings that day, this one was my favorite. In addition to the many wonderful memories, from time to time I create a small fantasy of the octopus or fish that might be wearing my glasses I lost in the surf that day. Perhaps a crab grabbed them to adorn his abode, or maybe they are on their way to becoming sea glass.

Please let me know what you think
